The Clipper
Publication Design, ad design and social media management
Background: The Clipper is a publication that is based in El Dorado County, CA. They have been around for 30+ years serving over 50,000+ readers in El Dorado and Placer County. The owner of The Clipper also owns The Gold Panner, a newspaper that has been around for readers in El Dorado County for over 40 years.
Day to Day: I am one of a few graphic designers for The Clipper and The Gold Panner. I design ads for clients for the publications. I also work on business material design (business cards, signage, promotional items, etc). When the publications are ready for delivery, I hyperlink The Clipper and The Gold Panner for website usage. On the day of release, I update The Clipper’s facebook page with the current publication and important information.

Side Note: I do not design the layout of The Clipper & The Gold Panner. Some designs haven’t been used for finalized for the clients. Thought it would be nice to show what I am capable of as a designer.
