Objective: Create an interactive timeline which traces the history of type and related technological innovations.
Strategy/Solution: Designing and planning an overall concept for the audience that displays all the needed information as well as is easy to navigate. My goal was to design an interactive timeline that had the different categories pop up as the user scrolled down through the timeline. As the user scrolls the blurbs would alternate sides of the center line. The blurb of information had the year created in the color that connected with the different sections. Then the name, the designer and the location were placed next to the year. Then a small brief was created more about that type, technology or innovation created. To differentiate the different sections, I used different colors; type is orange, technology is a mint green and the innovations is pink.
